Spring Hill is a popular and famous mail order & online nursery. They offer the full range of plants, mostly flowers & perennials though. Many people do not like Spring Hill, complaining of plant size and quality. I think you get what you pay for and Spring Hill still offers some of the best deals around. When I spend so little for plants I'm not expecting much. The trick is to buy plants that you know will thrive in your area and spread rapidly, that way size doesn't matter, only price. Plus I've called them on their lifetime guarantee before with no problems.

|I've called Spring Hill numerous times on their lifetime guarantee and they've always honored it no questions asked. Recently I ordered plants from another source and they shipped an incomplete order (I only got 1 when I ordered 3). I told them this and they said they wanted me to ship the empty box back before they would fulfill the rest of my order. That is some pretty crappy service and makes me appreciate Spring Hill even more.|

|Because they have been unable to deliver my order in a timely manner, I was forced to cancel my order after waiting 2 months I live in MN so my growing season is quite short. I have been treated with rudeness and disrespect on the phone. Three different days I contacted customer service on the phone just to be told that the "system is down" and my only option was to try back in 24 hours. While I understand technical difficulties do happen, I believe there are work arounds that can be put in place so the customer, me, is not the one who is inconvenienced by the company's problems.
Springhill Nursery will NEVER receive a positive referral from me. On the contrary, I will take every opporunity to be certain my friends and family are quite aware of the disappointment I have had while working with Springhill. Service aside, all I really wanted was the 64 plants I ordered!
