Nature Hills is a good source for a wide variety of plants. I've not ordered from them many times but so far I've been pleased with their prices, selection, and service. One particular tree I wanted I could find no where else and their price was excellent.

| The reason I rated Nature Hills the worst is because of their service or lack of service. I ordered a number of trees, 3 arrived dead and I informed them right away but they handed me a cock and bull story that they were still dormant (I have planted trees and studied horticulture and botany for over 30 yrs. but evidently I was too stupid to know dead from dormant. Anyway I waited the 6 weeks I was instructed to do and they agreed to replace them if I pay them 50% of the original price and shipping and handling. I have dealt with over 60 plant suppliers and nurseries, local and online and have never been told I must pay to have dead trees replaced. My strong recommendation SHOP ELSEWHERE ! | |||

| Check out reviews of Nature Hills online BEFORE YOU BUY. You have been warned. Mainly, I think you should be advised that they take their legal "terms and conditions" more seriously than they do customer service. That seems to be a theme in the negative reviews (and the company responses too). Ex/ When they tell you you can cancel your order "before it is shipped" don't believe them just because they wrote that to you in an email...because it isn't in the terms and conditions that way. Apparently the "full" terms and conditions have a longer and very restrictive cancelation policy...unlike the straightforward "cancel until it is shipped" policy they informed me of in plain old black and white email text. When I sent them a copy of their own text they ignored it and again (broken record) referred me to their longer and very different terms and conditions. What service! Will I shop their again? Hmmm. That's a tough one. It was their mistyped email that caused my problem and they could care less! If I had been informed properly from day 1, I wouldn't have been inconvenienced and I wouldn't be disgruntled. So, they have my money, but at least I can warn a few people via the power of the internet. Good day. |
